Meet The Team

Peter Castillo MD, FACOG, FPMRS

Dr Castillo is a Fellowship-trained Female Pelvic Medicine specialist. As founder and director of Swan Medical Intimate Wellness in Los Gatos, CA, he is dedicated to improving common quality of life conditions that affect millions of women.

Dr Castillo completed his OB/GYN residency at St Barnabas Medical Center in NJ then went on to complete a three year Fellowship in Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and Female Pelvic Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After 5 years of clinical practice at Kaiser Permanente where his duties involved overseeing resident research and education and teaching medical students as Assistant Clinical Professor of Stanford University, Dr Castillo created the first private Intimate Wellness Center in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr Castillo is actively involved in clinical research and is on several women’s health advisory boards to help shape new emerging therapies and advanced treatment protocols that address commonly experienced conditions that occur as a consequence of childbirth, aging, and menopause that impact intimacy and quality of life.

Dr Castillo aims to optimize health through root-cause treatments for the
common symptoms associated with aging. He is committed to empowering women to embrace their longevity and erase the stigma of Female Sexual Health
through educational events, seminars and compassionate care.

Dr. Josephine Doo is a Californian native who is fellowship trained in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of California, San Diego. She then left her home state for the Midwest to complete her three-year fellowship training at Oklahoma University in Oklahoma City. During her time in Oklahoma, she sought out to complete her Masters in Clinical and Translational Sciences to better bridge the gap in bringing innovative and science-backed change to Women’s Healthcare.

Her research interests in Urogynecology have included optimizing postoperative analgesia after surgeries, imaging of pelvic organ prolapse and vaginal mesh with 3D pelvic ultrasonography, and analyzing associated factors that could contribute to recurrence of pelvic organ prolapse. Her research has been presented at various prestigious conferences, including American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and International Urogynecological Association (IUGA). She is excited to bring her research background to help improve understanding and access to Female Sexual Health and Wellness.

Dr. Doo has developed advanced skills in pelvic surgeries, including vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. She is committed to education and patient care demonstrated by numerous Teaching Awards she received throughout her training. Her dedication to advancing women’s health and her expertise in the field make her a respected leader in her specialty.

I am ecstatic to join Dr. Castillo and his team at Swan Medical. As a UCSF trained Nurse Practitioner I come with years of experience working as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) as well as in acute care and integrative therapy related environments. I have a passion for Functional Medicine which aims to get to the root cause of medical concerns rather than masking them. While working as a PCP I found the area of pelvic health and intimate wellness to be significantly underserved due to lack of accessibility to the most relevant and innovative modalities in this field. I am happy to now work with safe, highly effective groundbreaking technologies available at Swan Medical. Driven by the desire to help and the desire to learn, my aim is to help patients attain their highest health and intimate wellness goals in ways that can enhance and preserve all aspects of life.

My passions outside of the healthcare arena involve growing healthy organic food, surfing in the cold waves of Santa Cruz, snow skiing, and otherwise spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Elizabeth Cooper is an experienced Board Certified Physician Assistant and Dietitian with a career spanning two decades in healthcare. Holding dual Master of Science degrees in Physician Assistant Studies and Nutrition, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, she brings a robust academic foundation to her practice.

Prior to her current role at Swan Medical, Elizabeth served as a Physician Assistant at Norcal Urology, specializing in adult urologic care and overseeing complex treatments including intravesical chemotherapy and testosterone replacement therapy. Her work history also includes managing a multidisciplinary team at JumpstartMD, focused on medical weight loss, nutrition education and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) for men and women.

Elizabeth’s commitment to patient care is underscored by her comprehensive approach to health and her dedication to advancing clinical practices in hormone therapy and urology.

Morgan Becker is a Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in aesthetic medicine, dermatologic care, and patient-centered wellness. She is known for her refined aesthetic eye and meticulous technique, helping patients achieve natural, balanced results through personalized treatment plans designed to support both skin health and confidence.

Morgan earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with honors from Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California. She also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration Management and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University, East Bay.

Her expertise includes neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers, biostimulators, laser treatments including PICO, RF, and CO₂ technologies, microneedling, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare. Morgan’s approach emphasizes facial harmony, subtle rejuvenation, and long-term skin health.

Prior to joining Swan Medical, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Kaiser Permanente and served as a surgical first assist in the operating room, these experiences strengthened her clinical precision and deep understanding of facial anatomy.

Born and raised in the East Bay, Morgan brings warmth, attentiveness, and honesty to every patient relationship. At Swan Medical, she combines advanced clinical training with an artistic perspective to deliver sophisticated, natural-looking results.

I’m the Co-Founder and Marketing Director of Swan Medical, where I’ve helped shape a brand rooted in longevity, vitality, and personalized care. I bring my background in design and entrepreneurship into the world of wellness, building something beautiful and meaningful alongside our incredible team. I’m also the Founder and Creative Director of Zoí Elements, a nutraceutical brand created to make health simple and sustainable. Every product we create is a commitment to nurturing long-term well-being.

I’m a mother of three, a creative at heart, and someone who’s constantly seeking growth—in myself, my work, and the people around me. I believe deeply in lifelong development, and I carry that belief into my roles as a mother, a businesswoman, and a woman devoted to wellness and purpose.

Beyond my professional roles, I’m someone who takes health and vitality seriously—not just as a brand, but as a lifestyle. I care deeply for my family; I’m intentional about how we live, eat, and grow together. I also have a deep passion for design and creativity, and I even study architecture in my spare time. That process of imagining something and then bringing it to life—that’s where I feel most at home.

At my core, I’m visionary, grounded, and fiercely devoted to making life better for myself, my children, and the communities I’m a part of.

Hello, I’m Janis Wirt, the Regional Practice Manager at Swan Medical, overseeing all our locations. With over 30 years of experience in customer service, my journey began in the beauty industry, where I spent 20 years as a hairstylist, licensed cosmetologist, and salon educator. I have always been passionate about beauty, health, and wellness, which aligns perfectly with Swan Medical’s offerings. As I embraced motherhood and my priorities evolved, I sought a more fulfilling career path with greater longevity and growth potential, which led me to return to college. I proudly graduated from Purdue University in the fall of 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration.

Joining Swan Medical has been the perfect opportunity to merge my passion for aesthetics, wellness, and patient care in a professional healthcare setting. I deeply admire the exceptional care our providers offer and find great satisfaction in witnessing our patients’ joy, improved quality of life, and growing confidence. Much like my time as a hairstylist, where I aimed to enhance my clients’ confidence and happiness, I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for our patients at Swan Medical.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my husband and daughter. I enjoy reading with my book club, practicing yoga, lagree, and pilates, walking with my dog, and having fun with family and friends, especially in outdoor settings.

I am excited to contribute to the growth, development, and longevity of our practice, ensuring we continue to provide excellent patient care across all our locations.

Hello, I’m Jessica Regalado. I am excited to be the Practice Manager at our new office in Danville. I have been with Swan Medical since 2021 and am very happy to be a part of this family. In addition to my role as Practice Manager, I also serve as the Marketing Manager, creating content for our website and social media, and helping to plan our infamous annual Swan Medical events.

I truly have a passion for providing quality customer service and connecting with our patients. Being a part of a patient’s journey to better health and wellness feels good. Our providers truly take the best care of our patients, and it has been an honor to work with such a caring medical practice. I have learned so much during my time here at Swan Medical, and I love how we make such a positive difference in our patients’ lives.

Prior to joining the team, I was in the Beauty Industry for 20 years as a Salon Manager, Hairstylist, and Salon Educator. I fully enjoyed the process of building confidence in my clients and students. I look forward to getting to know all of our wonderful patients and continuing to learn all I can to assist our team in creating a beautiful experience for all of our patients here at Swan Medical.

Hi, my name is Angel Wakilina and I’m privileged to be the Los Gatos Assistant Manager at Swan Medical. I have over 20 years of experience in customer service in the holistic health and beauty industry. After having my son I became increasingly curious about pelvic floor issues and intimate wellness, so naturally I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Swan family! My son is my pride and joy and I love nurturing his creativity, we spend lots of time drawing and doing crafts but in my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking and reading! I also have a passion for helping people feel their best and look forward to meeting you all.

Hi I’m Alex, I am one of the Patient Care Coordinators. I am happy to be a part of the Swan Medical family. With over 5 years of customer service experience in the healthcare industry, I am passionate about providing the best customer service and patient experience. Dr. Castillo’s work is incredible and I feel incredibly lucky to gain so much insight and knowledge on hormonal health and intimate wellness.

Outside of work, I love to travel with my husband. I am also passionate about health and fitness and enjoy working out, going on hikes with my dog, and spending time with my close friends and family.

I recently graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and am on the path to becoming a Physician Assistant. My passion for medicine started at a young age, and I aspire to work in Pediatrics, focusing on helping children in underserved communities.

I recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Medical Anthropology, along with a minor in Chemistry. My journey in medicine has been shaped by a deep-rooted desire to make a difference, particularly in underserved communities, and my ultimate goal is to become a physician dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for all. Here at Swan Medical, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Castillo, delving into the realm of women’s health and intimate wellness. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and I’m excited to gain more knowledge and experience. Hi! My name is Nadya Higgins and I am honored to be one of the medical assistants here at Swan Medical. I recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology and a minor in Evolutionary Medicine. From a young age, I have been interested in medicine both as a means to provide care for people and as an academic pursuit. I hope to become a physician one day and am currently preparing to apply to medical schools.

I am ecstatic to be part of the Swan Medical team and to be under the guidance of Dr. Castillo, who never fails to amaze me with the depth of his compassion and knowledge. Through this role, I have gained immense insight into the realm of women’s health and intimate wellness. It is invigorating to see firsthand how the treatments we offer have had a positive impact on our patients’ wellbeing. I am excited to continue growing in this role and to apply everything I learn in my future journey as a physician.

Hello! My name is Alexis, and I am one of the medical assistants at Swan Medical. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco in 2021. Before joining Swan Medical, I volunteered in the emergency department at Regional Medical Center, which solidified my passion for patient-centered care.

I am excited to begin my first role as a medical assistant in women’s health and to be working with such an incredible team. Working with Dr. Castillo and the Swan Medical staff has been an enriching experience, and I am grateful to learn from such dedicated mentors as I work toward my long-term goal of becoming a trauma surgeon.
