Preparation

Before beginning your vFit treatment, you will need to begin making certain preparations. Your specialist will provide you with a set of detailed instructions. While they are straightforward, each one can help you achieve the best possible results. They include:

  • Adjusting Your Routine: Alter your personal routine to avoid using any harsh or irritating skincare or body products around your vagina before and after your treatment.
  • Shaving the Treatment Area: Your specialist may recommend trimming, shaving, or waxing the treatment area to make it easier for you to administer your treatment.
  • Cleansing Your Skin: Ensure your skin is free of any lotions, body oils, and other skincare products before beginning your treatment.
  • Dressing Comfortably: Wear loose and easily removable clothing to streamline your process.

Procedure

When administering your treatment, you will first need to cleanse your skin to ensure it is free from any residual skin products or fluids.

You will then apply a photonic gel to your vagina. This is a water-based gel concentrated with pH-balanced ingredients that can deeply hydrate and nourish your vaginal tissues. This gel will also simultaneously improve the comfort and effectiveness of your treatment.

You will then insert the vFit device into your vaginal canal before connecting it to an app. This app will allow you to control the device throughout the treatment session. As the treatment progresses, the device will emit red light and heat energy into your vaginal canal. The red light absorbed by your tissues will begin promoting the creation of new collagen, support cellular renewal, and increase your circulation. The heat energy will contribute to the light’s effects by stimulating additional blood flow to your local tissues to improve your natural lubrication. The device will also vibrate throughout the treatment to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles. You can customize the settings to suit your specific needs and comfort level.

Results

You may notice improvements after just one treatment session, although most patients experience their best results when using the vFit three times a week for 60 days, before switching to a routine of once or twice a week. (2) You can expect to experience improvements in your personal comfort, sensation, tissue health, and muscle engagement. Depending on your case, you may also notice a reduction in urinary incontinence.

Patient experiences may vary.

Other Intimate Wellness Procedures at Swan Medical

There are several treatments for intimate wellness, two being diVA and diVaTyte.

diVaⓇ

diVa is a hybrid fractional laser treatment that can resurface the tissue on the vaginal wall to improve the uncomfortable symptoms associated with menopause. (4) This treatment utilizes two different laser wavelengths to achieve its results. The first laser removes damaged layers of tissue in the vaginal canal to reveal fresher and healthier tissue. The second laser then heats your underlying tissues to improve deeper collagen production. Through this effective combination, you can eliminate any concerns or changes that may have occurred, such as dryness, painful or uncomfortable sex, urinary incontinence, vaginal laxity, and more.

diVaTyte™

diVaTyte is a specialized treatment that can rejuvenate your vagina’s external tissues. This treatment uses infrared light technology to stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin in the treatment area, two key proteins needed to maintain the health, elasticity, and overall appearance of your skin. This treatment provides gradual, continuous results as your collagen levels increase over time. However, you may notice some improvements after just one treatment session.
